r e v i v a l : Recently the American Bishops launched a new initiative called the Eucharistic Revival “to inspire and prepare the People of God to be formed, healed, converted, united, and sent out to a hurting and hungry world through a renewed encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist – the source and summit of our Catholic faith.” In 2024, this movement will culminate with a national Eucharistic Congress and God-willing, a new springtime of faith, worship, and conversion through the United States. The Holy Spirit purifies and empowers everywhere he goes, and the Spirit constantly wants revival in and through the Church. What is true revival? How does it start? What role does the Eucharist play? How are we called to respond? Tim Glemkowski joins us this month to answer these questions and more as we press into this new movement of the Spirit as we grow in our love and devotion to the ‘source and summit’ of our faith.
Tim Glemkowski is the Executive Director of the National Eucharistic Congress. Most recently, he was Director of Strategy in the Archbishop’s Office for the Archdiocese of Denver, assisting with initiatives focused on building for a time of apostolic mission. He is the former founder and president of L'Alto Catholic Institute and Revive Parishes. Tim authored Made for Mission: Renewing Your Parish Culture, which was released in Fall 2019 through Our Sunday Visitor. He is an international speaker who has also consulted for many organizations, dioceses, and parishes. His writing has appeared in numerous print and web-based theological and catechetical publications. Tim and his wife, Maggie, live in Lakewood, CO with their three young children.
